I had a blonde Persian. He was a riot too. He LOVED opera music and whenever it was on he would situate beside the speaker and sing. I don't mean his ears hurt... I mean... HE SANG!! From the deepest "MOW" to the highest "MEUW" he could range. When there was a powerful interlude he would wiggle his backside like he was going to pounce, but I learned it was to build up his lung power. I moved a mirror in front of him and then he KNEW he was a STAR!!! They are so funny. He had this look like, "Yes, you may kiss my paw."

Preco definately says "Mom" and applies it to me. If anyone asks, "Where's your Mom? Or where's your Momma?" He will say "Mom or Mowma" and set off to find me

They are so smart! And the attitude is a riot. The moment I finish giving him treats, he dismisses me

I could have written a book of "OLIVER" stories. Like the day I came home to find my beautiful little white blonde fluff ball rolling in the ashes of the fireplace. He was still a kitten and had squeezed himself behind the grate and into a pile of dark black soot. I tried to wash him but it just turned muddy.. My other cat Hana, who hated the new addition, even got sick of looking at him and tried to groom him. He cried his little kitten squeaks till I took him to the vet and the groomer took mercy on him. He was really too little to be groomed, but they were worried he would get sick. He came out nice and clean and fluffy. Frisky of course. I cleaned out the fireplace completely. Two weeks later he rolled in the soil of a newly watered house plant.
